| Southgate is one of eight Districts in Greater London North Scout County. It provides Scouting for over 1000 young people, including all the camping and adventure, leadership and teamwork, fun and friends that Scouting has to offer.
There are fourteen Scout Groups in Southgate, which provide Scouting for the 6 to 14 year olds. There are also four Explorer Units which are for 14 to 18 years olds. Many of these have large numbers of girls as well as boys and by 2007 all Groups will provide mixed Scouting in line with National guidelines. |
