Cross Country Race and Cyclo-Cross (04 Dec 06 9:47pm)
On Sunday 26th November, 25 Scouts from 4 Troops gathered in heavy rain at Tolmers Camp site to compete in two events run in succession. First was the Cross Country, followed by the Cyclo Cross (i.e. a Cross Country Run on bikes).
Both events were divided into two age groups, under 13's and over 13's. The weather continued relentlessly throughout the morning and it was decided to change the route for the Cyclo Cross. One bright spark was heard to say that the course had shrunk in the rain.
