Southgate & Haringey District Pantomime (20 Dec 06 12:33pm)
Southgate & Haringey District Scouts have just completed their 11 performance run in their annual Pantomime "Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves" at The Intimate Theatre in Palmers Green.
Yet again this popular family Pantomime was a roaring success for young and old alike. One Leader told us that "The Pantomime just goes on getting better and better every year". The Deputy Mayor of Enfield said simply "It was fantastic!" And David Burrowes MP who came along with his children said "The Pantomime is a tremendous advert for modern Scouting".
District Commissioner Chris Foster summed up the whole mood by saying "Wonderful Pantomime, amazing performances, superb teamwork, and great friendship. Local Scouting can be rightly proud at putting on such a high prestige show for the people of North London".
