GLN recruits new Local Growth Officer

We are pleased to announce that in February 2025, Ayesha Arshad was recruited as GLN’s new Local Growth Officer, working closely with Juliana Ajibade, Local Growth Operations Manager, London and East.

Ayesha comes with a great deal of experience and enthusiasm having previously worked as a Local Growth Officer for London and East of England.  Ayesha also volunteers as a Team Leader for an Explorers Group in Greater London North East in the Waltham Forest District and has been a volunteer for over 5 years.

Ayesha’s focus in her new role will be to work with our existing volunteers to support local Scouting and to grow new groups and missing sections, specifically in underrepresented, ethnic and faith communities across the County where there is currently very little or no provision.
