5th Southgate Scout Group
Welcome to 5th Southgate Scout Group, part of the vibrant Southgate Scouting community! Our Group has been at the heart of Winchmore Hill for over 100 years, offering young people opportunities to explore, grow, and thrive through Scouting. Whether it’s earning badges, camping under the stars, or making lifelong friends, we provide a safe and exciting environment for young people to develop skills for life.
Our History
Founded as the 163 Scout unit and then in later years changing to 5th Southgate Scout Group, we have a proud tradition of helping young people achieve their potential. Over the decades, we’ve been part of countless adventures, from local camps in Phasels Wood to international expeditions. Our Group is built on a strong sense of community, supported by dedicated volunteers who make every activity memorable.
