Chiltern 20 Challenge Hike 2025

Date: 18th October 2025 Location: Chiltern Hills
Here is some early information about the forthcoming Chiltern 20 Challenge Hike, taking place on Saturday 18th October 2025.  This year’s event will once again have a start and finish at a big school somewhere in the Chiltern Hills.  This location is within easy access to main roads and a mile from the nearest railway station.

We will be announcing the grand opening of our brand new event website, coming very soon.

The online entry database will open on 1st July and will close at 22:00 on 4th October.  The closing date will be strictly adhered to, and no teams will be accepted after the deadline.  Also, after the closing date, team managers cannot make team changes (young people or adults), unless agreed by the committee.

This year’s event will maintain the new safety features from last year.  Most of the route will be off-road, and once again we will introduce a cut-off time point to allow teams to finish in daylight.  The new safety measures will include a maximum number of 90 teams.

We will be continue to organise a Sunday event on either the following day or any other Sunday in October, especially for teams that are unable to participate on 18th October.
